keep things moving with the J&L Mark 5
The J&L Mark 5 is equipped with advanced features including:
Sectional Jam Detection: Allows boxes downstream of a jam to continue moving through the machine, minimizing scrap and downtime
Electronic Variable Speed Folding Belts: Enables real-time speed adjustments for folding belts to correct skewed boxes without stopping the machine
Small Box Tooling: Simplifies setup and improves handling for smaller box sizes across all machine widths
Full Flap Final Fold: Shortens the upper belt on one side to facilitate folding major panels fully for narrow minor panel boxes
Compression Exit Hold-Down Rods: Maintains downward pressure on smaller boxes with residual memory to prevent glue failure and maintain shingle integrity
Drop-in Carrier Belt: Provides added support and drive during front folding of boxes with high width-to-length ratios
New in the Mark 5 XT:
Openness and Accessibility: Open architecture with excellent sightlines and spacious modules for easy tooling setup and maintenance
Fast Setup: Open design allows quick manual adjustments, avoiding delays caused by auto-set systems
Controls Longevity: Electronic controls specified for long-term supportability, ensuring backward compatibility and availability of replacement parts
Box Ejector Module: Integrates with inspection systems to divert defective boxes automatically
Crush Roller Module: Uses chromed rollers with adjustable pressure to flatten boxes for denser compression and higher speed
